Created to Fill a Critical Gap

Throughout my career as a clinician & clinical supervisor working in high-risk settings, I was trained on well-established tools for identifying & responding to suicide risk. What I found is that there are many resources available for this. (Which is greatly needed!)

However, assessments for potential violence toward others, were far more limited.

Such situations require professionals to make difficult decisions quickly. Oftentimes, circumstances don't allow for the administration of a lengthy, comprehensive assessment before a decision to escalate, refer for further evaluation, initiate protective custody or another safety response must be made.

I created THREAT-RS™ to help address that gap.
